On November 14th, Refuge Cities Network held a special women’s health event at the West Clinic, dedicated to supporting women in vulnerable communities. Organized by a compassionate team of doctors and volunteers, the day focused on gynecological health, pregnancy care, breastfeeding education, and maternal well-being. Free transportation was provided to ensure accessibility for all.
A midwife welcomed attendees by taking medical histories and conducting examinations, followed by personal consultations and treatment from a gynecologist who also distributed necessary medications.
The event included an informative lecture on the benefits of breastfeeding, and women were given the chance to share their personal journeys through pregnancy and motherhood.
The day served not only as a healthcare initiative, but also as a space for women to find encouragement, support, and empowerment.
